Drive just minutes from Santa Fe Motel and Inn, in any direction and you will find awesome hiking trails in the foothills of the city, beautiful streams, prehistoric Indian ruins, incredible rock formations, lakes, historic mining towns, abandoned ghost towns, and wildlife galore.

Sure, Santa Fe is well known for its amazing restaurants, shopping, art, farmer’s market, the opera, and history. It’s all here. Including a vast network of hiking trails that open up to the most majestic mountain vistas. There are boundless ways in which you can explore the great outdoors- and it’s all within a short driving distance from Santa Fe Motel and Inn.

All the bittle birdies… they go tweet, tweet, tweet at The Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary. With 190 species found in the ecosystems of this sanctuary, both common and rare. The Randall Davey Audubon Center is surrounded by thousands of acres of the Santa Fe River Watershed and National Forest. Take a guided bird walk at 8 AM on Saturdays or a docent-led tour of the historic Randall Davey House, where you can view paintings by Davey, a member of the Santa Fe Art Colony. Tours are held Fridays at 2 PM
